I spent a bit more than 6 months in Ukraine (1998-1999). Our work was mainly performed in Slavutich.

Slavutich is the town which houses the employees of Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant and their families. More than 20,000 people live in Slavutich. As you can see on the map, the town is located in the North of Ukraine, at about 180 km far away from Kyïv (by the road), very close to Belorussia and at only 60 km far away from the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant.
